New Product Features: MERS Batch Registration
The newest enhancement to ConformX is the ability to batch submit loans for registration with MERS. In yet another step towards making ConformX a one-stop shop for all your loan processing needs, you can now submit up to 100 loans at a time to be registered with MERS. The registration process provides for immediate registration and feedback as to the success and/or failure of each registration request across the entire batch submission, in an easy to use and understand user interface.
The process for setting up MERS Batch Registration is very simple and can be completed with your Account Manager in a matter of minutes. Once your account is configured to use the MERS Batch Registration feature, all closing documents being processed will be made eligible for registration, once the documents for that package are generated by reaching the Document List screen in ConformX. When you are ready to register your loans, you merely go to the MERS Batch Registration screen, which is available through multiple points of entry, select the desired loans and click Register. By harnessing the newer XML based registration process with MERS, loans are immediately registered instead of the old flat file mechanism, which wouldn’t process the registration completely until the next day. This allows the end user to know immediately the status of each loans registration instead of having to wait.
Additionally, DocuTech has added a report in InformX, which will allow each company to review the entire history of all registration attempts, whether they were successful, and when the loans were registered with MERS.
